FAITH-BASED & EDUCATION CASE STUDY
From Legacy to Cloud: A Security Transformation at St. Peter Chanel
How SSP helped St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church & Pre-School move from aging, disconnected security technology to a modern cloud-managed environment built for faster response and long-term scalability.
Project Snapshot
St. Peter Chanel needed a simpler way to manage access and surveillance across a busy parish and pre-school environment while improving visibility and preparing the campus for future growth.

PROGRAM
Cloud-Managed Access + Video
The Challenge
Legacy access and surveillance systems made daily administration more difficult and limited how quickly staff could review activity, respond to incidents, and manage a changing campus environment.
Why SSP
SSP approached the project as a phased modernization rather than a simple equipment replacement, focusing on cloud management, practical workflows, and a system the parish team could confidently operate after go-live.
The Solution
SSP designed the project around the client’s operational requirements, then coordinated the technology, implementation, and support needed to make the new environment practical for daily use.
Cloud-Managed Access Control
Access management was modernized so staff could manage credentials, schedules, and permissions from a more flexible centralized environment.
Modern Video Surveillance
Updated surveillance improved visibility, remote access, and incident review while giving staff a clearer picture of activity across the property.
Migration, Training & Support
SSP coordinated the transition, helped staff adopt the new workflows, and stayed involved after installation to support the environment long term.
A Safer, Easier-to-Manage Campus
The transition to modern cloud-managed security gave the parish and pre-school faster response, simpler day-to-day administration, and greater confidence that the environment can scale as needs change.
